zzzzzz....

My dog Crockett loves to sleep, but especially when it's in the warm glow of sunshine. I've made a mental note to myself to locate all sunshiney spots in any future dwellings in order to make sure the furniture there is appropriate and ready to be covered in dog hair. Because Crockett will find it. He may sprawl, he may curl up, but if it's sunny, you can bet that he will be there taking a snooze.

I did not, however, realize my dog's desperate need to sleep in the sun. If so, I would have removed my footwear from the area. I'm sure his dreams smelled like feet.
